Landmark Wool Economic Focus May Edition Released

This month the Wool economic focus reports that demand conditions in the wool textile industry in the major processing countries have improved after a disappointing 2009. The improved conditions are mostly expected to consolidate in the next six months, although there are risks. After declining steadily in the past decade, world wool production is predicted to improve moderately in 2010/11. With the moderate improvement in demand, wool prices could lift further.
