Landmark appointments in Queensland

Landmark has announced the following key appointments to its Queensland network.

Some of the positions involve people who have been attracted to join the company, while others are people already within the Landmark network, according to Landmark Queensland State Manager Tim Walker.

“Landmark has over 2000 employees nationally and we have a comprehensive program to develop our people within the company, providing them with career growth opportunities,” Mr Walker said.

“We are about having the best people to provide the best service to our clients, which is what makes the business thrive.

“A clear example is Don Brown, who takes the role of Live Export Manager Queensland, based in Mackay, with effect from 2 February.

“Don brings a great deal of expertise to our live export business. He is well known in the industry, so this is a key appointment to a growth area for the company.

“Tony Bowen has been appointed to the role of Branch Manager at Charters Towers, having just completed four years as branch manager at Injune.

“Tony is a very experienced and successful livestock agent who commenced his new position on 12 January. He is well known to people in North Queensland, having held a livestock role in Charters Towers in earlier years.

“At Injune Trent McKinlay has accepted the position of Branch Manager, with effect from 2 February. Trent has been with Landmark for several years and is a skilled livestock agent and auctioneer.

“Andrew Holt has been appointed as Senior Account Manager Livestock at Charters Towers. His previous roles in the Maranoa region and north-western Queensland have made him very well qualified for the new position.

“Also joining us at Charters Towers is Troy Williams in the role of Account Manager Livestock.

“Further north, Lyle Rankin is commencing the role of Senior Account Manager Livestock at Mareeba. He has considerable experience after spending three very productive years in a livestock role at Landmark Alice Springs.

“Finally we are pleased to announce the appointment of Todd Donaldson to the new position of Senior Account Manager Merchandise, based in Townsville and servicing the northern and western Queensland region. Todd is an experienced operative who will provide on-farm services in animal heath and nutrition.

“We are delighted to announce these appointments, which will provide quality customer service and help our clients to grow their business,” Mr Walker said.
