50th Consecutive wool sale through Landmark

Landmark has conducted its fiftieth consecutive wool sale for the Wingiel Pastoral Company, owned by Wingeel farmers, Clive and Kate McEachern.

The sale occurred at Landmark’s Brooklyn wool store on 14 May, with Landmark wool area manager Simon Arbuckle doing the honours for the 340-bale listing.

“Fifty wool clips is a big achievement in itself, so all of them to be through Landmark or its predecessors makes us honoured to have conducted the sale,” Mr Arbuckle said.

“We achieved 100% clearance, which was befitting such an occasion.

“Our relationship with the Wingiel Pastoral Company and the McEachern family goes back over a very long period to Clive’s father and now involves a third generation as well, so we hope that this is what client service is all about,” Mr Arbuckle said.

Landmark will be also be conducting Clive and Kate's fiftieth consecutive “Ardno Hereford” sale in 2009.
