The P.B Fenech Brahman sale on 23 October was once again a major success, involving Landmark’s stud stock teams from Rockhampton, Dalby, Toowoomba, Gympie and Mackay.
Grey Brahman bulls with Hudgins genetics from P. B. Fenech made up the greater proportion of the offering, with 10 grey heifers also included. Bungoona Brahmans and Rockley Brahmans also offered key lots on the day, including red bulls and heifers.
Held on property at the “The Chase”, Sarina, Queensland, Landmark stud stock officer from Rockhampton, Colby Ede, said the sale was an impressive showing of grey and red Brahman genetic strength.
“Strong demand saw the sale gross $821,100 and an average of $7,895 for 104 lots sold, with a buyer gallery that stretched from Katherine in the Northern Territory to South Elliminyt in Victoria,” Mr Ede said.
