Cotton and broadacre farmers from Inverell to Walgett and Goondiwindi to Gunnedah will benefit from having fertiliser supply readily available in northern New South Wales thanks to a new bulk fertiliser depot opened by leading agribusiness company Landmark today.

Landmark will be working with all its fertiliser suppliers to ensure its customers have the products they need, following the appointment of administrators and receivers to Hi-Fert on 26 May.

The need to increase productivity is driving Yeelanna graingrower Randall Wilksch to try a new precision farming service and adopt technologies that make more efficient use of the costly commodity that is fertiliser.
