Landmark Classic Campdraft Sale lists 129 horses

Landmark has 129 registered Quarter Horses and Stock Horses listed for its Classic Campdraft Sale at Tamworth on 24 May, 2008

Interest in the sale has exceeded all of Landmark’s expectations, according to Landmark NSW state livestock manager Mark Barton.

“It’s a very strong sign of the recovery, importance and enthusiasm for horses in our industry,” Mr Barton said.

“I’m currently holding details for 91 Stock Horses and 38 Quarter Horses.

“They represent a lot of the leading sires and all horses will be ridden for the sale, so people will really be able to see the quality and strength of what is in the catalogue.

“Adding to the interest is that if you buy a horse at the May sale that is still five years and under by February 2009, you gain automatic eligibility to enter the 2009 Landmark Classic Campdraft, which has $50,000 in prize money available,” Mr Barton said.

The sires represented at the sale include: Acres Destiny, Adios Reflect, Bank Fulo Cdees, Blue Moon Mystic, Chevin Ivory, Dually Cool, Glen Lee Rivoli Ray Tech, Hazelwood Conman, Kirkbys Stud Officer, Lethal Lena, Playboy Roy, Spinis Roc Star, Tassa Lena, Warrenbri Omega.

All horses are available for pre-sale inspection from 10.00am, with cattle working from 1.00pm, on Friday, 23 May 2008.

Catalogues are available from http://livestock.landmark.com.au/livestock-sales-features or Landmark Tamworth.
