Livestock Traineeships


At Landmark, we’re committed to fostering the next generation of Livestock experts, trained to find new and innovative ways to meet the challenges faced by farmers in rural and regional Australia.

We have developed an innovative Livestock traineeship designed to provide on the job learning to participants to develop them into Livestock Agents within our business.

Successful applicants must be at least 18 years of age and be able to demonstrate:

  • Completion of Year 12, a TAFE certificate in an agriculture based subject preferably involving animal health or management or an agricultural related university degree.
  • Q-Fever Immunisation or be prepared to be immunised for Q Fever
  • Minimum 2 years livestock experience
  • Drivers licence
  • Knowledge of livestock industry
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Self motivation
  • Analytical ability and numeracy
  • Ability to embody our values of integrity, accountability, teamwork and customer focus
